Island Hollyhocks
While visiting Salt Spring Island, one of the Gulf Islands in British Columbia, we came across this scene. The hollyhocks were taller then a man! One doesn't have to live there to treasure this view.

Lighthouse Most lighthouses have been removed from the pacific northwest. So to keep these historic structures alive, what better way than to immortalize them in stained glass? The foreground tree is either called an arbutus or madrona.
